Ancient Healing Modalities Through the Ages
Delving deeper, I learned about vibrational healing, used by ancient cultures. One of the oldest forms of vibrational healing, dating back 40,000 years and used by the Australian Aboriginals, is with the didgeridoo.
A didgeridoo is carved out of a specific thin tree trunk, and each one is a different size and shape. The low frequency of the didgeridoo produces an audible sound that is felt in the body and used with nearby instruments to treat various ailments, including broken bones and pulled muscles.
Ancient Tibetan monks used singing bowls for spiritual ceremonies and healing meditations. Some of the first singing bowls, made of various metals, date back 6,000 years. The vibrational gongs from the bowls allow for deep relaxation of both brain hemispheres to relieve stress and release toxins from the body.
Around 500 BCE, Pythagoras, the great Greek philosopher and mathematician, could have been the first to adopt an organized approach to using sound as a healing apparatus. Creating a sphere of sounds in perfect fifths was found to impact mental issues and assist with sleep. The intervals of the perfect fifths are used widely today in vibrational healing.
Many Indigenous cultures and shamans around the world since ancient times have used rhythmic drum beating, often with chanting. This allows the shaman and the patient to transcend to an altered state of consciousness, capable of imparting mental and physical well-being with healing.
Drum beating in Polynesia excited and strengthened the warriors before going into battle. To this day, Cook Islanders and Tahitians are world-renowned drummers at festivals and performances.
In the pursuit of modern medicine and pharmaceuticals, the ancient wisdom of vibrational medicine was tossed aside and classified as just being a part of religious ceremonies. Now, with the awareness that modern medicine is unable to address many ailments, there has been a rediscovery and use of vibrational healing modalities that contain divine wisdom.
Mentoring With Other Vibrational Healers
My deepening journey with sound healing began in Bhutan, where I was commissioned as an artist to paint portraits of the King and Queen of Bhutan. During my stay there, I learned sound vibration from one of the chief monks of the Gasa Dzong.
I also studied under Catherine Hammer, a renowned sound healer in New York City.
Becoming a Vibrational Healer
As a vibrational healer, I use Tibetan bowls, gongs, tuning forks, quartz crystal bowls, and specially designed crystal chalices with gold and or platinum inlays and unique vibrations.
Tibetan/Bhutanese and Crystal singing bowls have been used for centuries to reverse the toll that stress has taken on your soul.
The range of sounds they create restores the vibratory frequencies of diseased and out-of-harmony parts of the body, mind, and soul. This treatment will leave you feeling rejuvenated, calm, and composed.
I offer my healing services to the world in ways that are all interconnected when one chooses a vibrational healing session, a natal chart astrological reading, an astrological medical reading, a Tarot card reading, an Akashic record reading, or a commissioned painting with me as an artist.
It all speaks to the healing of vibration and frequency of the energies of the divine intelligence that flow throughout the universe.
