We then use the Firefly technology to provide a quick 10-minute treatment that destroys the offending pathogens using targeted frequencies and light wavelengths. Patients typically complete three Firefly treatments and will repeat the F-Scan every few months to ensure the infections are gone and no new infections have occurred.

Another tool we utilize is Acupuncture Meridian Assessment (AMA) or Bioenergetic Testing. Originally developed in the 1940’s by German practitioner Dr. Reinhold Voll, “AMA simply uses an electronic device placed on acupuncture points to assess energy flow through the meridians of the body” (Yu, 2020).

AMA is extremely useful for detecting underlying infections that many conventional tests may miss. Likewise, AMA is able to detect system imbalances at a cellular level while most modern tests can only detect imbalances that have spread throughout the body.

This incredibly refined form of testing is still widely unheard of here in the United States, yet it is invaluable in the assessment of potential underlying health concerns that conventional testing may have missed. Understanding the imbalances that may be occurring at a cellular level allow me as a practitioner to treat them before they become more serious issues.

As patients begin to clean their internal and external environments, I work with them to begin healing their damaged digestive system.

Some of my favorite gut-healing substances include L-Glutamine, Quercetin, N-A-C, Aloe Vera, and Milk Thistle. I combine all of these and more in my 4-Gut Repair supplement to provide powerful healing within the gut. This paired with a nutrient-dense, low sugar diet can lead to the rapid recovery of a strong gut. Lastly, I encourage patients to boost their detoxification through a variety of methods.

Supplements that act as binders like charcoal or psyllium husk are fantastic for helping the body more efficiently eliminate toxins. As previously mentioned, this clears up the burden on the immune system, allowing it to focus more of its efforts on invading pathogens.

Lifestyle habits that boost detoxification include daily exercise, safe sun exposure, and, of course, diet. There are a few modalities I love recommending along with these lifestyle changes and they include regular infrared sauna use, lymphatic drainage massage, and ozone therapy.

Key Takeaways

● The gut is a multi-organ system that is intricately connected to the function of our immune system.

● 70-80% of our immune system cells are housed in the gastrointestinal tract.

● Poor gut health leads to the dysregulation of many different functions which, in turn, downregulate the efficiency and effectiveness of our immune system.

● There are several “fuels to the fire” that can cause gut health including environmental toxins, toxic chemicals, intentional or unintentional antibiotic consumption, high sugar diets, low-nutrient diets, or an excess of “dead foods”, food allergies and sensitivities, and underlying infections.

● Gut health can be restored by creating a clean external and internal environment.

● This involves first reducing or completely eliminating the “fuels to the fire” by checking for food allergies/sensitivities, underlying infections, filtering home air and water, and replacing harmful, chemically-laden products with non-toxic alternatives.

● Damage can then be repaired by supporting detoxification through specific supplements and modalities and then providing the gut with healing nutrients through clean foods and supplements.
