“By utilizing biomeridian testing, individuals gain valuable insights into their health, enabling informed decisions about lifestyle changes, nutritional adjustments, or further medical interventions. This approach is intended to support natural physiological processes and may contribute to general well-being.
There are some professionals who remain skeptical about meridians and energy flows. I have been challenged from time to time regarding whether these meridians even exist. However, in my medical training, I could see the relationships between the various organ systems, and their arrangement throughout the body.
As I studied these meridians, it was easy for me to see that there was a relationship between these pathways and the various organ systems.
I was pleased to discover that scientific principles exist for identifying and testing these meridians. While not all individuals may apply this knowledge, there is scientific research supporting discipline.
One of my experiences in being exposed to the use of meridians through acupuncture was when I was helping build a dialysis clinic in Nantong, China at the Kidney Hospital for Jiangsu Province. I was allowed to watch the placement of a peritoneal catheter in a patient who was being anesthetized by using acupuncture instead of regular anesthesia medication. He was lying on the table with eyes open not feeling any pain during the procedure.
I was amazed at how effective it was. What was even more amazing was that there was another patient in another suit using the medication route. The difference was clear, and both methods produced acceptable outcomes for each patient.
This contrast led me to believe at the time, and even today, that either method has a place in the medical delivery system. I find that the consideration of biomeridian testing has a more holistic approach that seeks to find the cause of the problem rather than just putting a band aid over it with medication or surgery.
If we can find a meridian that is blocked or sluggish in conducting the energy flow, then take proper measures to restore the flow, isn’t that more desirable than the alternatives that we see so often in hospitals and doctor’s offices today ?
I’m not saying that we need to always resort to biomeridian testing, but it may be beneficial to at least have it as an alternative for those who wish to have that testing done.
There continues to be skepticism from traditional medical practitioners regarding the effectiveness of biomeridian testing and the course of treatment that usually accompanies it. It is important that you find someone who is trained in the discipline and has positive results with other clients they have treated.
There is a call for more stringent studies into the effectiveness and standardization of techniques within the practitioners’ training courses. As time advances, we should expect more alignment with the results of biomeridian testing and more traditional medical approaches; at least we can hope so.
For now, it is worth considering as an option from a skilled practitioner.
