Some came unexpectedly, in a simple email that appeared in our inbox at the end of an ordinary day.
One memory, however, has remained especially close to our hearts.
A reader wrote to tell us about three lifelong friends whose bond had endured across decades and continents.
When one of them passed away, the two remaining friends—one living in Paris, France, and the other in West Palm Beach, Florida—wanted to honor the memory of the dear friend they had lost.
Separated by an ocean, they searched for a way to feel connected during a time of grief.
They found that connection in a place we never imagined.
Together, they chose one of Sabina's meditation and prayer pages from Masters of Health.
At an agreed-upon hour, although thousands of miles apart, they each opened the same issue of the magazine.
They read the same words.
Shared the same silence.
Offered the same prayer.
And held the same beloved friend in their hearts.
Later, they wrote to tell us what that moment had meant to them.
They said that, despite the distance between them, they felt profoundly connected—not only to one another, but also to the friend whose life they were honoring.
They thanked us for creating a space where remembrance, reflection, and healing could quietly come together across continents.
We have never forgotten that letter.
Not because it praised the Masters of Health magazine.
But because it reminded us that sometimes the most meaningful things a publication can do are the things it never set out to accomplish.
When we began this journey, we hoped these pages would educate.
We hoped they would inspire thoughtful conversations.
We hoped they would encourage people to make informed decisions about their health.
We never imagined they might also become a bridge between hearts.
Looking back today, we have come to realize that while we set out to publish information, what has touched us most deeply are the quiet moments these pages have helped create in people's lives.
Moments of learning.
Moments of hope.
Moments of healing.
Moments of reflection.
And sometimes...
Moments of connection that remind us we are never truly alone.
Perhaps that is the quiet miracle of publishing.
An article can inform.
A conversation can inspire.
But occasionally, without ever intending to, a thoughtfully created page becomes something much more.
It becomes a companion. A comfort. A shared experience.
A quiet bridge between hearts separated by distance, united by love, and sustained by hope.
That single letter changed us.
It reminded us that knowledge reaches far beyond the mind when it is offered with kindness.
It can comfort. It can encourage. It can bring people together.
And in those rare moments, it becomes something even greater than information.
It becomes an act of service.
Perhaps that is the most beautiful lesson these past ten years have given us.
Not that a magazine alone can change the world.
But that every thoughtfully written article, every meaningful conversation, every carefully designed page, every meditation, every prayer, and every act of generosity has the potential to touch a human life in ways we may never fully know.
And for us, there is no greater privilege than that.
"Knowledge, shared with generosity, becomes service.
And service, offered with compassion, has the
power to change lives."
— M. Stanislavsky
With Gratitude
Anniversaries naturally invite us to look back.
More importantly, they remind us to say thank you.
No meaningful work is ever accomplished alone.
If these pages have touched lives over the past ten years, it is because countless people have generously shared their knowledge, their time, their creativity, and their hearts.
We think, with special affection, of devoted contributors such as our dear friend Lady Carla Davis, MPH, whose unwavering commitment and generosity have enriched these pages month after month. Lady Carla represents the spirit shared by so many remarkable physicians, researchers, educators, authors, scientists, innovators, and contributors who have walked this journey with us.
This anniversary belongs to every one of them as well.
While we cannot mention every name, we hope they know who they are—and how deeply grateful we are for each of them.
We are equally grateful to our remarkable Editorial Team, whose creativity, professionalism, and unwavering dedication have quietly shaped every issue we have published. Much of the work happens behind the scenes, yet it is reflected on every page our readers view.
To our advertisers, collaborators, interview guests, production partners, and friends… thank you for believing in our vision and helping us grow from an idea into a publication that reaches readers around the world.
And to you, our readers...Thank you.
Thank you for your trust.
For your curiosity.
For your thoughtful letters.
For your stories.
For challenging us with wonderful questions.
For encouraging us with your hope.
And allowing us to become part of your journey.
You have inspired us far more than you will ever know.
