Stella is also very conscious about adopting a mindful approach to life, choosing to accept the reality of any situation (ie if she is feeling sad. She welcomes feeling that information into her awareness instead of masking over it with logical rationality (I have a great life and shouldn't be feeling sad) or numbing from it with distraction/avoidance/denial) and in this way she is much more in tune with her body, emotional and psychological states and therefore can utilize this important information to help guide her when making big (and small) decisions either during a race or in life.

Horses are a huge part of Stella's life and her family background. Born into Australian endurance royalty, and having worked hard to create her own legacy of personal success and achievements, she has been a faithful student to the many magical and heartfelt experiences that horses offer anyone who wants to work with them and learn through the process.

One element of her life that has continued to grow through this close relationship with horses is the development of her intuition and connection to something greater than herself.

There have been some particularly challenging opportunities Stella has been faced with, and as always, she has chosen to look to both conventional and alternative methods to resolve and work through what has shown up.

Through her work with Willow Vetch, of Unbridle Your Power, she really began to understand the capacity for healing that all beings possess and has put into practice how to harness that within herself and with and for her horses.
