4 Be Present - Close your eyes and tune in to all your senses. Notice any sensations in your body. Feel your feet on the floor, the air on your skin. Hear the sounds around you, birds, traffic, airplanes. Smell the flowers, or fresh cut grass. Engage your senses and you are completely pre-sent. Your Pivotal Point of Power is always in the NOW. You can’t change your past. The future will unfold as it will. This present moment is the only time where you have control... of your thoughts, of your perceptions, and of alignment with your desires. The only place you can change your life is in the here and now. That’s why living in the present is a gift.

5 Meditate - Meditation is the practice of quieting the mind, going within, and connecting with your inner self or the Divine. It can be done any number of ways and last any length of time. You may prefer walking or sitting quietly in nature. Others may gaze at a candle, focus on the breath, or look within. Still others prefer listening to a guided meditation, chanting Om, or spinning their chakras (the body’s energy centers). The varieties are endless, but they all yield a peaceful outcome, with benefits that include stress reduction, heightened awareness, greater focus, less anxiety, improved outlook, and better health. An easy way to meditate is to focus on the word ‘Peace’ and repeat it silently in your mind. If you notice yourself thinking thoughts, gently return to repeating the word. Select a particular time of day, location and length of time to practice your meditation.
