This book emphasizes the association between the colon and the iris, intestinal
diseases and their treatment and the relationship between colon and reflex diseases to which I have given particular attention for nearly 50 years (1967-2017).
All my knowledge about Iridology and nutrition was first given to me by Dr. Bernard Jensen back in 1964 when working with him at Hidden Valley Health Center. This included
colonic therapy, vegetable juice cure, and vitamin therapy, which I also explain in the
book.
My new book, Health and Disease Begin with the Colon came out in October 2020, being a revision and update of the Portuguese version first printed in 2009, at the time offering innovations in several areas especially about the intestine as our second brain and associating intestinal bacteria with various diseases. I was one of the first to focus in this area, and originated many innovative therapies and detox programs.
