I am beginning to see a global awakening. People around the globe are beginning to become curious and more emotionally present. They are acknowledging that fear and anxiety is ever present no matter in which part of the world you live. Every day there is another documentary focusing on waking people up. It is estimated that number of “awakened” people could be as high as half the planet population. Dr. Mark McDonald has just released a book titled, The United States of Fear, in which he explores the state of fear and anxiety people are feeling and his comments are that if someone is addicted to fear and anxiety, they are frozen in time.
I truly believe that grassroots movements all over the world are popping up and are being led by those awakened people leading the charge for systemic change for a better tomorrow for our planet and its’ inhabitants. The key to success is connection. We need to be able to identify each other on the streets putting a positive image forward. One afternoon, a group of four friends and I were sitting in my living room ending our usual conversation lamenting the state of the world and how could we be a catalyst to have people connect with each other. Then, we all looked at each other and at the same time said, “I’ve had enough!” We all had Enough!” That afternoon, the enoughmovement.org was conceived. People all over the globe are connecting with each other through this movement. They are forming local grassroots groups and creating local change. Go to
In many ways as perilous as these times are, I feel it is the most exciting time in human history to be alive. We are poised to make planetary and societal changes at a magnitude we have not seen before. We are healing and regenerating our food and farming, our soil, our waters, and our air. We will come through the other side and into the light better and stronger than we ever thought possible. Our future generations will be able to claim their generation looked ahead seven generations, and made wise decisions carrying all of us into a better, brighter future.
