Patrick Coles, Ph.D., is the Chief Scientist at Normal Computing, where he develops novel computing hardware for Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.
Previously, he was a Staff Scientist at Los Alamos National Lab (LANL). At LANL, he led their near-term quantum computing group, and he made important contributions to the theory of quantum computing.
He has a broad background, having done his PhD in Chemical Engineering at Berkeley and his MPhil in Biochemistry at Cambridge.
Currently he is also working on a new theory for cancer and chronic disease.
