June is Men’s Health Awareness month. That means it’s time to honestly take a look at what you are doing to ensure your longevity. You know we’re not just talking about living longer, but living healthier and stronger. That means developing strategies for staying at the top of your game, regardless of your age.
It’s a universal truth that too many men are willing to wait until something breaks before they seek help when it comes to their health. But longevity isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about strengthening what’s working, preventing what’s not, and optimizing everything in between.
At The 100 Year LifestyleⓇ we’re all about helping you or the men in your life, at every age, take responsibility and action to ensure a long, powerful, and purpose-driven life.
In Your 20s–30s: Build a Strong Foundation
Too many people take these years for granted. Now is the time to set the stage for what’s to come. That should include:
Developing lifestyle habits you’ll thank yourself for in 50 years.
Prioritizing eating to nourish your body—not just to fill your stomach.
Getting regular chiropractic care early to optimize your spine and nervous system so you can live at 100% for 100 years or more.
In Your 40s–50s Protect Your Power
These are your peak performance years—physically, mentally, professionally. It’s essential that you continue to take time for self-care and stay on your healthy longevity path by:
· Watching for creeping symptoms of stress, fatigue, weight gain, or joint pain.
· Getting regular chiropractic adjustments, manage stress proactively, and make time for recovery.
· Checking your mindset: Are you just “getting through” the day—or thriving?
In Your 60s and Beyond: Redefine What Aging Looks Like
For many people, their 60s and beyond are their best years! How about you?
· This is where The 100 Year LifestyleⓇ shines. Vitality isn’t just for the young—it’s for the prepared.
· Stay active with strength, flexibility, and balance training.
· Keep your brain sharp with learning, social interaction, and purpose-driven activities.
· Visit your chiropractor regularly for adjustments to maintain mobility, nerve function, and quality of life.
Health Isn’t Just About You
Fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers—your presence matters, your loved ones and community need you—the best version of you possible for as long as possible.
Not only that, think about the message you are sending the next generation about aging. That life slows down after 50? Or that strength, wisdom, and energy can grow with time?
Time to Step Up
Whether you’re already thriving or need to course-correct, Men’s Health Month is your invitation to take ownership of your future, to start living your 100 Year LifestyleⓇ, regardless of your age. Now is the perfect time to start living your best life.
Men, Take Care of Your Amazing Body
To the surprise of absolutely no one, a new Cleveland Clinic survey finds that most men — and boomer men in particular —don't like talking about their health. AARP
We’re not asking you to talk about your health. We’re asking you to learn how to maximize your health. Men, take care of your amazing body. According to the Cleveland Clinic Survey, 53% of men said they just don’t talk about their health. 60% said they only go to a doctor if a symptom or problem becomes unbearable. 20% admitted the only reason they see a doctor is to stop a spouse or significant other from nagging them. If you learn how to take care of that amazing body of yours, you might very well be able to live your life at 100% for 100 years…or more. And that would be without any unbearable problems.

Lifestyle Choices
We’ve already discussed how regardless of age (or sex), the nervous system is in control when it comes to your body’s internal communication system. Despite the many differences between men and women, this isn’t one. Often male lifestyles can be about extremes. They either have office jobs that require a lot of sitting, or physical jobs that require a lot of physical labor and heavy lifting. Often their outside of work lifestyles include or are even centered around playing sports or working out.
These lifestyle choices leave men of all ages exposed to chemicals and toxins, stressors, and injuries. If unchecked they lead to wear and tear on the joints and muscles, chronic pain, and increased risk of injury.
Health Care Choices
Over the counter or prescription pain relievers are not a healthy solution. When the medication wears off the pain returns, often worse than before. This downward cycle does not promote health and healing.
As men age, other concerns such as erectile dysfunction, hypertension, diabetes, and color cancer can be added into the mix. It’s possible for men to do what they enjoy, into old age, without risk of chronic illness, injury or pain. All they need to do is begin to make health care choices that will support their body’s innate intelligence.
Age Isn’t to Blame
By making proper choices and enhancing your overall health on a regular basis, you will be surprised at how many health challenges can be avoided as you age. Your age isn’t to blame for your problems, it’s the choices you’ve made that got you where you are today. Those same choices will determine where you’re going to be tomorrow.
When spinal subluxations or misalignments are left untreated, they do not allow for the central nervous system to communicate with the body. This sets the stage for all types of dysfunctions, including but not limited to back pain.
Back to Lifestyle
Did you know that lifestyle chiropractic care can reduce the risk for common male health problems such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, erectile dysfunction, and colon cancer? It can also increase quality of sleep, relieve joint pain, and maximize range of motion.
If you have been thinking that your health conditions can’t be treated, you’re probably wrong. If you were told that your health conditions can only be treated by medication or surgery, you were probably lied to.
Chiropractic care can make you healthier and stronger in many ways—not just relieve minor ailments. It can restore or help you maintain a lifestyle that brings you joy. Find out more by talking with a chiropractor today. Start living at 100% for 100 years today!
