How To Make America Healthy Again

Dr. James Lyons-Weiler, PhD

Dr. James Lyons-Weiler Is Rewriting the Return on Investment of Medical Research — with Health as the Dividend.

You may know Dr. James Lyons-Weiler from his fearless investigations into vaccine safety, his leadership of the nonprofit Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge (IPAK), his books, widely read Substack Popular Rationalism, or his role as Editor-in-Chief of  Science, Public Health Policy & the Law — a journal so grounded in evidence, it was cited twice by RFK Jr. during his HHS Senate confirmation.

But what sets Lyons-Weiler apart is not just his courage — it's his redefinition of what medical research is for. In an industry where the “return” on research is too often measured in stock prices and product patents,

Dr. Lyons-Weiler has committed his entire career to the radical idea that the return on scientific investment should be measured in health, and his outlines of clear visions for pathways to necessary transformation.

Take, for example, his flagship initiatives —  Integrative Pathways to Health (IP2H)  and

Integrative Pathways to Mental Health (IP2MH) — through which Lyons-Weiler is launching a national transformation in how we study, understand, and improve human wellness.

IP2H and IP2MH are about results-based medicine — but not the kind dictated by pharma trials and insurance reimbursements.

These frameworks unite  clinical nutrition, neurofeedback, detoxification, trauma-informed care, metabolic rebalancing, environmental risk assessment, and more into pragmatic clinical research studies integrated care models that prioritize outcomes, not market share.

It’s no longer about translation of knowledge into profits. It’s about transformational research of knowledge into health — and the science to prove it.

With more than 25+ years of biomedical research experience and over 55 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Lyons-Weiler’s record includes:

  • Publishing the first Pediatric Dose Limit for aluminum in vaccines

  • Co-authoring the Vaxxed vs. Unvaxxed study showing statistically significant health differences

  • Uncovering the mechanism of pathogenic priming (and coining the term)

  • Creating the IPAK-EDU IRB to oversee truly independent, ethical biomedical studies

  • Leading over a dozen research projects at IPAK

  • Educating thousands through IPAK-EDU, a full-spectrum academic platform offering expert-led courses in logic, ethics, epidemiology, systems biology, and public health policy

  • Dr. Lyons-Weiler envisions a scientific culture where discovery is once again driven by curiosity and courage — not narrative control. And he has built the institutional infrastructure to make that possible, outside the reach of corporate capture.

His transformation model does not ask for permission. It invites participation.

Through IPAK and IPAK-EDU, he’s launching cross-disciplinary collaboration to generate evidence for real-world combined therapies — with the aim of scaling replicable, high-impact care protocols across the country.

The idea? That a regenerative model of health care can exist — one that reduces chronic disease, mental illness, and medical dependence by restoring function, autonomy, and resilience.

    Dr. Lyons-Weiler told us:

Too much biomedical research is focused on drug A vs. drug B. Too little research addresses combined therapies. Too little is on combined therapies. There is ample growing evidence that tells us that something about for-profit western medicine is not only not helping, that is hurting us in ways that are preventable.

We can save over 250,000 lives a year in the US and millions of cases of clinical worsening by asking the right questions:

Which medicines and medical procedures are actually harmful, and when, and which combined therapies can be used to help people make their individualized health goals?

We have a chance at a completely new start with the new HHS under (Secretary of Health and Human Services) Robert F. Kennedy’s leadership.”

Transformational research isn’t a dream. It’s a demand. Dr. James Lyons-Weiler invites us all to help answer it.
