He went on to tell how this person, well call him Sam, was admitted into the hospital with the CV diagnosis. Within a matter of days, he was on a ventilator and the pastor was called in to pray for Sam because the doctors believed that he was terminal.

After gowning up and masking the pastor went to Sam’s bedside and placed his hands on Sam’s back and began to pray for him. (Sam was in a prone position as recommended by protocol.) Then he sang a song to Sam for encouragement.

As the pastor was getting ready to leave, the nurse, who had been observing the activity, came up to the pastor and asked if it might be a good idea to have some spiritual music playing for Sam. The pastor had a couple of my harp CDs with him so he asked the nurse to play them for Sam, which she was able to do. The music played softly in the background for the next several days until Sam woke up! The doctors were amazed as well as everyone else. Sam completely recovered, and he was there in the audience as the pastor relayed his miraculous story.

When I had the opportunity to speak with Sam, he told me that the only thing he remembered was hearing the harp music as he regained consciousness. He was still using a little oxygen but that was scheduled to come off the following week.

As I have said before, I don’t put guarantees on my CDs, claiming that they will cure sickness and disease. Each person and situation is different. But I will say that the music plays a part in healing. It is even ‘healing’ if we are not necessarily diagnosed with a specific disease, but just need to calm down or have a good night’s sleep.

Another article I read recently indicated that music is being recognized as a treatment for anxiety and depression. Quoting from the article, “Research unfortunately shows that the human brain is built with a negative bias...… It takes desire and will power to train the brain to think more positively and to overcome depression and anxiety. Music can actually help reprogram your brain to look at life more positively.”

Even though the FDA wont allow me to say that my music will cure you, I can say that it has healing qualities that have produced some amazing results – even miracles!
