Namaste Honorable Speaker Dr. Kiran Vyas, His Holiness Jagadguru Swami Isa, and Honorable GEP Members.

This BILL ADDRESSES the interconnected threats posed by

•    toxic chemicals (including cancer-causing PFAS, neurotoxic fluoride, glyphosate, which the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies as probably carcinogenic to humans, atrazine, which is linked to endocrine disruption and cancer by the US EPA)

•        genetically modified organisms (GMOs)

weather/climate modification and geoengineering.

These factors threaten both human (inner) and environmental (outer) health.

To address these threats, this BILL PROPOSES holistic, evidence-based solutions, backed by credible scientific research and international guidelines.

On Toxic Chemicals and GMOs

Toxic chemicals and GMOs in our food supplies, air, and water are linked by peer-reviewed studies to increased rates of chronic diseases, endocrine disruption, cancer, lower IQ, infertility, and loss of biodiversity.  According to the 2023 World Health Organisation report, long-term exposure to certain pesticides like glyphosate is associated with higher cancer risks and neurological disorders.  In 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified glyphosate as "probably carcinogenic to humans.”

Thousands of PFAS chemicals (e.g. PFOS, PFOA) can be present in our water, soil, air, food, materials in our homes and workplaces.  Included are our drinking water, waste sites, fire extinguishing foam, airports, military bases, manufacturing or chemical production facilities, food packaging, household and personal care products, dust, and biosolids.  Peer-reviewed scientific studies have shown that exposure to PFAS may lead to decreased fertility, high blood pressure, developmental effects or delays in children, puberty, bone variation, or behavioural changes, increased risk of some cancers, immune deficiency, hormonal imbalances, increased cholesterol levels, and obesity.

Additionally, fluoride and atrazine have been identified as neurotoxins and endocrine disruptors.  According to organizations such as Greenpeace, the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission’s Report for US HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Children’s Health Defense, Environmental Working Group (EWG), The Detox Project, Center For Food Safety, Regeneration International, Organic Consumers Association, Mom’s Across America, Fluoride Action Network, The Sustainable Pulse, the Institute for Responsible Technology (IRT), Military Poisons, MIT Senior Researcher Stephanie Seneff, PhD (author of Toxic Legacy), and GMOScience Founder Dr. Michelle Perro, MD (author of What’s Making Our Children Sick), these chemicals contaminate the air, soil, water, and food, disrupt ecosystems, and endanger the health of future generations. World Beyond War

On Geoengineering and Weather/Climate Modification

Weather/climate modification and geoengineering have been shown to disrupt normal weather patterns and ecosystems.  In 2022, the United Nations Environment Programme and Geoengineering Watch reported that large-scale interventions can cause unintended consequences, including altered rainfall patterns, floods, increased regional droughts, and ecosystem imbalances.  Notably, the 2021 report by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine,  Highwire Ep 407 on Climate Control, the 2021 documentary The Dimming, and Geoengineering Watch warn that solar geoengineering techniques poses significant risks to regional climates and food security.  (Links provided below.)

Philosophical Alignments

These recommendations ALIGN with the precautionary principles advocated by the United Nations and numerous scientific organisations and call for greater transparency and public engagement in environmental decision-making.

This BILL's holistic interconnected approach to environmental and health challenges applies the I-Theory framework.  All life on Earth deserves to thrive and live in harmony.

GEP Policy Recommendations

Considering that eliminating exposure improves public health and recovery of ecosystems, this BILL calls on governments to ACT on the recent 2025 MAHA Commission's Report and other organisational studies noted in this Bill and PROHIBIT the use of these harmful chemicals, GMOs, and weather/climate modification and geoengineering.

Additionally, all governments and legislators must AVOID conflicts of interest and politicisation of these topics, and thereby PROHIBIT the approval of these toxic chemicals and GMOs in our food, water, and environment, as well as the reckless policies of warfare and weather/climate modification and geoengineering.

Governments and legislators are further urged to adopt the Education for Total Consciousness (ETC) system, as recommended by the GEP in 2021, as such models foster knowledge of interconnectedness, environmental responsibility, and holistic well-being among students.  ETC equips future generations to understand their relationship with both natural and artificial environments, and to discern the positive and negative aspects of their actions.
