Cardiovascular Health

One of the most profound and proven sauna health benefits is for cardiovascular health. Cardiovascular disease and accompanying deaths remain one of the top causes of death in our nation. Much advancement has been made in treating cardiovascular disease and learning how to reduce its threat, but it remains a threat to our longevity and quality of life. If there is something we can do to lessen its threat to our quality of life, it would be well worth considering.

"In 1981, the prestigious Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) reported that regular sauna use "may be as effective as a means of cardiovascular conditioning and burning calories as regular exercise."

"Also, a large, prospective study conducted in Finland showed saunas to be beneficial for preventing cardiovascular deaths. In the study, compared to men who never use the sauna, frequent sauna users (4-7 times per week) were 50% less likely to die from cardiovascular-related causes."

The infrared sauna has been proven to be of immense benefit to those who use them. Many also claim that their mental health is improved by providing a time for relaxation that allows them to take a step aside from the pressures of life and enjoy the solitary time of a 30-minute session in their sauna.

With all this information and all these studies to consider, we placed our order. This is an investment for our health and our future. How much more would it cost if we were to address an extensive health issue that could have been prevented?

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
