Nature of Real Education
Knowledge becomes absolute only when we are able to relate any gained knowledge of the physical world with the corresponding factor within us. Everything present in the world outside is present within us; and the state of keeping them in harmony is the outcome of real education.
Aim
Real education aims at reaching that realm of knowledge untouched by doubt. “The world and I are not different: everything that exists in the Universe exists within me.” Education aims at realizing this truth logically and scientifically.
Everything is created by the “I” particle, the basic unit of energy vibration. The entity of each object is determined by the specific rate of vibration. The rate of vibration inside and the rate of vibration outside have to be identified and the negative vibration must be brought into harmony. Education aims at providing the practical knowledge to achieve this state.
Defect in Today’s Education
There is no connectivity between the knower (“I”), and the object known. The gap between the two results in the sorrow of the individual. The person who is hungry looks for food, and then consumes it, but does not look for his or her actual relation with the food consumed. Without this awareness, he or she takes unsuitable food in large quantity and experiences sorrow and discomfort. We are ignorant about the proper food to be consumed, the right time, the right quantity, and the purpose of taking food i.e., to maintain good health. Ignorance of these same factors is the weakness of present-day education.
Today’s Education
Today, we teach and learn much about the world visible to us. We enter into many realms of knowledge through subtle equipments. But, with all the knowledge gained about the outside world, humanity does not enjoy peace and joy. In the midst of abundant wealth and luxuries, one is still unhappy and loses one’s purity. The educated individual as well as the enlightened society plunges into sorrow owing to the loss of values. It is this sorrow that has triggered the following thoughts on genuine education.
Today, we carry out the learning and teaching of the relative truth of objects through logical observation and experiments.
The scientific truth of the external world is logically observed, learned, and experimented with by the individual; and they become the proponent of that truth. But, one never realizes one’s own relationship with the truth they have proved. This ignorance contributes to the imperfect nature of today’s education.
The individual aims at happiness through study. One goes into varied realms of knowledge of the external objects and fixes the cause-and-effect relationship in their intellect. But, they fail to identify the cause of their sorrow.
They mistake their own plane with the plane of the object and try to derive happiness out of false perception. The friction caused by these contradictory planes plunges them into the abyss of sorrow. This downfall is transformed into vengeance, powerful enough to destroy the whole world.
