Jill Jennings-McElheney is a concerned citizen activist from Athens, Georgia, with a strong background in healthcare and environmental education. She has worked in healthcare for over 25 years, having experienced firsthand the challenges of being both a doctor and a patient due to her own health struggles.

Fluoridation ActivismJill Jennings-McElheney played a key role in organizing high-level meetings between the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the National Institute of Environmental Health and National Toxicology Program (NIEHS/NTP) in 2015.

 

She also facilitated a conference with the Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services, which was initially met with a six-year delay in response. As a victim of water poisoning, including two pregnancies, and a childhood cancer survivor, Jill Jennings-McElheney has advocated for consumer tap water to be free of fluoride. She has worked closely with organizations like the Fluoride Action Network and has been recognized as a Children’s Environmental Health Educator and Victims’ Rights Advocate.

She enjoys exploring her wild backyard with her family, promoting a love for nature and the outdoors.
