The Secrets of the Seven Sacred Vowels

Tap the energy of Sounds and Shapes!

By Jill Mattson

Each vowel sound is universal and creates different harmonics. All sounds vibrate with full and partial vibration; the partial vibrations are called harmonics. Depending on the shape of the mouth and the spin of the energy we put into a word, the amount of energy that goes into different harmonics varies. Said differently, each vowel sound has its own unique pattern of harmonics.

Many frequencies, such as neuron transmitters, cell to cell transfer and chemical processes in the body - follow harmonic patterns. When we get ill, the harmonics are out of whack. Therefore, listening to differently vowel sounds can provide specific healing benefits.

The ancient Egyptian priests were well aware of the benefits of vowels and consonants. They studied the effects of sounds for thousands of years, and we have barely begun our understanding of this powerful art today.

Almost every advanced society in antiquity associated vowel sounds with gods, planets and attributes of a god. The priests chanted the vowel sounds for a variety of “magical” benefits. For example, in the mummification of the Pharaoh - vowel sounds were chanted as part of the ritual to keep his soul present - for the advantage of the Egyptian civilization.

I always wanted to be a mouse observing the process to bring a mummy to "life." So here is our chance! Below is a review of this magical process:

"The seven strings of the magical lyre gave out, as they sounded, vibratory numbers corresponding to the astral waves of the seven planets. The Heirophant (high priest) applied, for his musical purposes, the mechanisms of the cosmic vibrations, and it was thus that at the propitious moment, he proceeded to the

animation of the trans vitalized phantasm of the Pharaoh.

"To capture the astral influx of planetary life, and to transfuse it into the mummy, the Hierophant made the seven notes resonate magically, A, G, F, E, D, C, B; according to a slurred ternary rhythm, which repeated like a charmed circle.

Then the atmosphere of the tomb was animated by lines of subtle energies, and the prodigy of an extraordinary condensation of cosmic life manifested by the rhythmic palpitations of the super vitalized air.

"The astral waves became more and more condensed, so as to form a wondrous fluidic spiral, the shape of the magic vortex of protection and animation whose center was the mummy itself.

At that instant, the Hierophant intoned the incantation of the astral life and fixed it, following the law of magical correspondences, in the breast of the mummy, whose phantasm was animated by and inextinguishable flame; and the miraculous existence of the Pharaoh's double would last as long as the land of Egypt."
