Arctic Light Products Ltd. (ALP) is a Tromsø-based company in Norway that supplies health food products directly from Norwegian producers to customers and distributors around the world.
It was founded in 2010 by Arild Karlsen, whose ambition was to create the best fishing oil product on the market. Prior to developing his product, Karlsen had many years of personal experience as a fisherman, fishing boat captain, fishing boat owner, and captain of a fishing boat trawler.
To fulfill his ambition, Karlsen sought the help and collaboration from the University of Tromsø to create an omega 3 fish and krill oil formula of the highest quality. Their work together produced a superior product called Nordic Light Fish & Krill Oil.
Their unique product is a blend of 70% high grade, highly concentrated Omega 3 and 30% Krill oil. Also, it is not from fish liver, but from fish meat, making it different from all other fish oil products. Another factor that makes this product superior to other fish or krill oil products, is its much higher rate of absorption and efficiency of the Omega 3. Normal fish oil Omega 3 uptake is only about 45 %. However, tests have shown that the absorption rate of Omega 3 in Nordic Light Fish and Krill Oil is much higher: from 92-94%.
